On Wednesday, July 15, 2009, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Detectives concluded a 2 1/2 week long investigation into a residential burglary that occurred in the 17000 block of Cranmore Road in Robbins on June 26, 2009 where over $48,000 in cash and coins were stolen, as well as over $3,000 in weapons and miscellaneous items. Sheriff’s Detectives were able to develop leads based on an information tip received from Woodland Police Department Detectives.
The Sutter County Sheriff’s Detectives assisted by Woodland Police Department Swat Unit and Woodland Police Department Detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Muir Street in Woodland and a second home located in the 200 block of Cascade Street in Woodland. During the search, detectives were able to develop further leads that led to two additional locations being searched, one in the 600 block of California Street and a second location on County Road 98 in Woodland.
As a result of the search warrants, Sheriff’s Detectives recovered stolen property that was
identified as some of the items reported stolen from the Robbins residential burglary. In addition, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was recovered as well as illegal firearms.
Joseph Michael Ferriero, 48, from Woodland was booked into the Sutter County jail on charges of receiving stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of dangerous weapons, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession for sale of controlled substance. Bail set at $25,000.00.
Marce Michaele Ferriero, 40, from Woodland was booked into the Sutter County jail on charges of receiving stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and possession of a dangerous weapon. Bail set at $25,000.00.
Juan Manuel Vuittonet Hernandez Jr. 35, from Woodland, was booked into Yolo County jail on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Bail set at $10,000.
Sutter County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating two outstanding
suspects wanted in connection with this investigation. Felony arrest warrants have been issued for Adam Morales Sanborn, hispanic male, 31, 5-11, 190, brown hair, brown eyes and Kimberly Lynn Brackett, white female, 35, 5-8, 150, brown hair, hazel eyes. Sanborn lives in the Woodland area. Brackett frequents areas from Woodland to Nevada.
