Search Warrant Leads to Arrest

For Immediate Release:
At approximately 7:00 A.M., today, NET-5 assisted by Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and Yuba City Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of First Avenue in Sutter.
This two month investigation resulted in the seizure of 13 ounces of methamphetamine, a gram of cocaine, 7 marijuana plants, scales, baggies, and MSM which is used as a cutting agent for drugs. Also located was an explosive device which appeared to be a ¼ stick of dynamite. Investigators estimate the seized methamphetamine and cocaine to have a street value of more than $10,000.
Taken into custody was Vincent Lopez, 50 years, of Sutter who was transported to Rideout Hospital for medical clearance prior to being booked into Sutter County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of cocaine.
This investigation reinforces the on-going cooperation between NET-5 and the various law enforcement agencies in the Yuba/Sutter area.
